One of the most important things you should know about me is that I was born and raised in Chicago. That means I'm basically a really nice guy. For the longest time I wanted to become Mayor of The Windy City, but when I got out of college the political winds weren't blowing my way.
So I took a job as a marketing reporter at IEG. While there, I started a photo business and wrote a book with my future wife about restaurants that show artwork. We called it Eat Your Art Out, Chicago.
A couple years later, I saw an ad in the Chicago Reader headlined, "Write If You Want Work." I answered the questions and beat the odds to land a job as a junior copywriter at JWT. About two years after that, I moved to Boston to take a job with the ad agency that is now known as DigitasLBi.
After a year as a full-timer, I started freelancing for the agency so I could start another business, make a feature film, and spend half my time in sunny Phoenix, Arizona.
I'm now a full-time desert dweller, along with my beautiful wife and daughter.
